Day 155

It's my Marvelous Monday - I wake up - have my coffee and get ready for my skype with Wade. Best part of my day and week. I love this time I spend with him. 
This afternoon I went bowling with Peggy, Jaide & Jared. Both kids are getting so good at bowling. Such an improvement from last year. We stopped for ice cream at Dairy Queen when we finished. It was a good afternoon.
Looks like we may be getting some more rain tonight. I sure hope so. I enjoy the storms when they blow through. It just brings a little bit of excitement. 
How ordinary my days and weeks seem. Getting more predictable with each new day. 
But, still I hold on to hope for a new thing:

"See, I am doing a new thing! 

   Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? 

I am making a way in the wilderness 

   and streams in the wasteland."

Isaiah 43:19

At the present time, it seems like I'm just plodding along through this wilderness of mine - step after step - just keep going on, but my eyes and my heart are watching and waiting for this new thing. I will stay faithful and look and hope for this new thing. We all need to keep strong and hopeful because God has promised new things - anticipate new things - they will happen.
