Day 224

Sundays are busy, busy days where I am occupied all day long. I was Rebekah again this morning for the 4th graders (about 15 of them). And again, I had perfect attention while I told my 'story'. And they were brave enough to try the lentil stew - some even asked for seconds. After Sunday School, I sat in the balcony for church service. Pastor Joy preached this morning and she always does a great job - her message was on 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 - "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.  Do everything in love."  Tonight was the annual Business meeting, but I was not able to make it. It's hard to get back to the church on Sunday nights - that's my family time and both Wade & I were happy that this church did not have Sunday evening services. I don't even like to attend any meetings on Sunday night. It just turns out to be too much on Sundays.
I went to Jared & Jaide's football games this afternoon. That was fun. It was Family Day and I sat in a picture with Jaide, Jason, & Peggy. And later during Jaide's half-time - dads got to cheer too, so I watched Jason put on a halloween mask and dance on the field with Jaide (and the other cheerleaders and dads). Fun stuff.
We had Subway sandwiches for dinner tonight, thanks to Jason & Peggy and now I am relaxing. All this busy-ness has worn me out today. And I need to get ready for a full day tomorrow.
Wade is doing good - he's anticipating watching lots of football with his 'football package'. We will skype on Tuesday this week.
