Day 145

Friday - My day to skype with Wade. How nice it was. He called me when he was in his office this morning and it seemed earlier than normal, although I am always ready to talk by about 8:30. A couple days before we skype, we compile agendas so that we will remember to talk about all the things that we wanted to. 

Again it was another hot day. After I skyped with Wade I went to Kroger to get what I needed before the temperature got too hot. This evening, the porch thermometer said 95 and that was in the shade. However, we had a big thunderstorm blow through and cool things down nicely. 
Wade is still recovering from his heat exhaustion. He needs to take care of himself and get better or else they may decide to send him home. He is trying to take care of business from his office and let the younger, more resilient people work out in the heat. 
Tonight I had pizza and a movie with Jaide & Jared. We watched Monsters, Inc. I had the movie "Rango" and I wasn't sure if it was appropriate for them, so I decided to shelf that and watch it myself at another time before I have them watch it. 

This is a picture from a year ago. That was a fun day. We met with Bev & Denny at the reservoir and spent the afternoon on their boat. 
I'm watching a movie right now called, "Old Dogs" and it has Robin Williams and John Travolta in it.
