Day 61

Yay for Fridays!! Gotta love them. I got to talk with Wade this morning on Skype. It's one of the biggest highlights in my week when I get to talk with him.  In fact, the exterminator came while we were talking and HE got to talk to Wade for a couple of minutes too. This was the first 'spraying' by the exterminator for this year, so I expect to find some stray bugs and spiders in the house complaining about it. I also held the computer up to the windows so that Wade could see how green everything is here. He said it's totally brown in Iraq. 
After that I went to the Post Office to send off his 'care package'. There are lots of goodies in there for him and the total weight was 22 pounds. I stopped at Rite Aid and got some pills for sinus headaches. I took a couple after I got home and laid down this afternoon. It actually helped and I feel better tonight. 

Jaide & Jared are here now and they will be spending the night. For dinner I served grilled cheese sandwiches, potato chips, corn on the cob, cookies and red vines. I've got other 'snacky'-type foods if they want to eat something later. We're watching a movie called "The Dolphin" that I got from Netflix. I have other movies in my queue that are kid-friendly for later tonight. We'll play some board games before bedtime which is our routine. Usually we play "Trouble" or "Sorry"
Other that what I mentioned, it was a pretty uneventful day and I didn't even get any revelations or bright ideas either - which may be because of my sinus medication. :o)
