This afternoon I visited Amanda at Snyder Park School at 2:00. She is such a sweet girl and I do enjoy my time with her. I bring donut holes from Tim Hortons and we read books on the Kindle. Last Sunday she came to our church and today she told me how much fun she had there. I'm hoping she will continue to come to our church. Our time today was up fairly quickly and I left her in the gym where they were having Sonshine Club. I often wonder what her life will be like when she gets older and I pray for her to be successful - to have goals and break out of this current lifestyle to achieve great things.
Poor Sheba is still having bad problems with her hips and legs. She didn't move from one spot on the floor for most of the day. She is limping so badly when I can get her to walk. I took her with me in the car to the vets this afternoon to get her some pain pills. I'm holding off making another appointment for her because she goes on Monday morning for her annual vet visit. We got more Rimadyl and hopefully she will get some relief for now.
I haven't heard from Wade in almost 24 hours so he must be very busy and involved. He is having problems with getting his passport and has been trying to locate it. He's been sending out emails, we've been getting responses and I hope it's cleared up soon. This is just another annoyance that needs to be solved - another box that Wade has to "close". Please join me in prayer for Wade and the completion of tasks that need to be done before he leaves. Even though I haven't heard from him I know that this is weighing on his mind.
Winter is not gone yet. After almost a week of rain, we are getting snow this afternoon. Not a lot of snow.....it's mostly big, soft, wet flakes but they say we may have about an inch by morning. I know people are tiring of the snow and winter, but I am still enjoying it anyway.
