First, this morning I finished the 5 chapters I needed to read for my class tonight - and then when I got there, I discovered I only had to read 3. Oh well, at least I'm all caught up for the next meeting.
I started preparing my lesson for Sunday School. I had a lot of fun picking out pictures in Google and getting a large picture book prepared for me to read. The class will be about Elijah hiding in the Cherith Ravine and how the ravens fed him. I will also be including the story of Awful King Ahab and his wife, Mean Queen Jezebel. While I am doing this I am thinking I should have been a teacher all these years ago and it's really too late now. I really enjoy my time teaching now.
This afternoon I picked up Jared for our time together and we went to Hobby Lobby to buy art supplies for Sunday School. I also had a 40 % off coupon and I used it on a Wilton Cookie Press for me. I was intending to buy one for making Christmas cookies and the coupon I had made it worthwhile.
So tonight I went to class - only two more to go and we're done. After class I went to Kroger very quickly (it was 9:00 and I don't like being out when it's later and dark) and bought bologna and cheese and am having a sandwich for dinner now.
Tomorrow is Skype day and I'm happy about that.
