Day 248

When cookies go bad....

These two cookies are my Zombie Blue Man Cookies

I got up this morn-ing and baked cookies. My inten-tion was to be able to ship some to Iraq but I think I got carried away and made way too many. I made 5 dozen little blue men. I got them all iced and most of them are in the freezer now because I don't want little blue men calling to me while I'm in the living room.

Thanksgiving is coming up - maybe I'll have some grandkids here that would be happy to eat little blue men. I also made some Peanut Butter Blossoms but instead of just 'kisses' - I made some with 'dark chocolate kisses' and some with 'hugs and kisses'. I am going to try to send some of these too, although I'm not sure how well they will travel. 

 Wade is looking into other work options today. We chatted about it last night (at around midnight) and there may be some changes, but nothing to report yet. He just needs some extra prayers for things to work out in the right way. But when things are settled and finalized, I will share with everyone. 
Cold weather is coming. We've had some rain and lots of wind today. The temperature is supposed to drop down below freezing tonight - and there have been rumors of some flakes flying in the air later this week.
