Then I went shopping. I bought an area rug at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I had a 20% off coupon. My very favorite yellow lab, Angel, decided to chew up an ink pen about 2 weeks ago and I have some lovely blue stains on my beige carpet that seems to look worse and worse each day. I can't stand to look at them. I had a small throw rug covering it, but other animals in the house thought I left if there as a toy for them to chew and play with. So I took my coupon and bought a rug to cover a portion of the floor. It looks pretty good and it's big enough that I don't think anyone will be picking it up and carrying it off.
I bought dinner for tonight, the remainder of what I needed for Sunday's dinner, the last supplies I need for Sunday School and a couple of Panera gift cards that I'm giving as "thank you's" for two people in my church.
I had Jaide and Jared tonight and we ate chicken nuggets and potato wedges. We watched the first part of Cars 2, but the receiver (Apple TV) was not working or receiving well, so we went to live tv and watched a Scooby Doo show before they went downstairs.
Now I'm baking a cake for the birthday girl on Sunday.
