Day 256

This was a super cold day. I didn't go out until this afternoon, but it was exceedingly cold with biting winds blowing. I caught this beautiful sunset outside of my kitchen window this evening. 

I picked up Jared after school and spent the afternoon with him. My weekly routine involves buying a cheeseburger happy meal and extra cheeseburger for 'snack'. Today we read more of "Little House on the Prairie" and then worked on homework. I enjoy these afternoons with him. There was lots of homework today, so we weren't able to do more fun activities or games, but sometimes we'll be able to do other things too.  
According to Wade, he may be leaving Iraq before the month is over, but again, we need to have a 'wait and see' attitude because things can change. 
Tomorrow begins the Clean-Up The House Project. I will be working on the office first. Jaide & Jared will be sleeping there tomorrow night and then Sam & Shelby will be in there the following weekend. That's also Opie's favorite room. He spends most of his day sleeping in the office chair in there. I may move the chair to my bedroom while we have company. I am not sure how he will tolerate all the people yet, but he seems to be pretty social.
